High end USB sticks now look a lot like small SSDs. USB 3.0 SSDs were either too bulky to carry around or weren't that impressive from a performance standpoint, but SuperTalent just showed me one that is quite tempting.

Super Talent Prepares SandForce Based Portable Storage
Super Talent is ready to get a raise out of their growing USB 3.0 product line. Here we see a traditional size portable enclosure but instead of just holding a 2.5" drive the POD mini is the drive. Super Talent has removed the SATA II interface and replaced it with a mini USB 3.0 port.

Super Talent USB 3.0 Express RAM Cache 32GB
The bundled software and caching ability set this drive apart from others. If you’re going to get this drive, you’re best off getting it with the bundled Ceedo software. The only exception would be if you plan on booting an OS from it. The drive’s caching mechanism is really there to help speed up applications.
